Students at Watsonville High, Pájaro Valley High and Renaissance High School are studying Across a Hundred Mountains and will receive a visit from the author to talk about it. Interested parents will engage in discussion groups, and finally, the community will come together at the Mello Center on February 18th to hear Ms. Reyna Grande speak about her book, her life and the value of education in today’s world. Students are also encouraged to participate in this year’s writing contest in English or Spanish.
